while I don't think I'd threaten Joey like that b/c it does seem to be a little ironic, I wouldn't roll my eyes at someone or even mildly care if he chose that to be his threat at that moment in time. Who knows what was running through his head. . .who knows if the child had just been a nightmare all damn day and he just couldn't take it anymore.
I just wouldn't care that much nor judge him. I honestly probably would've laughed and gave him an "i feel your pain" kind of nod!

Personally, I'm boring and never venture away from the coke flavor. I also think it's better then a slushie, it's smooth (well, you have to make sure it's full ready to be served haha or else it jsut becomes a coke with no ice)

I've never had a slurpee either, nor have my kids. But you know what they eat chicken nuggets and apple slices from BK. I try to get them to eat fruits and veggies but I am not going to judge another parent because he gave his kid a slurpee one day either.

when my kid gets slurpees he makes an "Aidan Special" and mixes almost all of the flavors together.
Personally, not finishing his slurpee doesn't bother me... it's when he wastes a perfectly good eight ball of coke that drives me NUTS.
momma paid good money for that coke. You better finish it.

Hmm, I made my kids finished the Mango Pineapple smoothie from McDonalds today. They begged and begged for it, and then didn't like it. I wasn't wasting my money on it, so I helped them finish it.
It's hard to judge someone from hearing that, but I do get where the OP is coming from. Wouldn't it be great if all our kids ate was healthy food? I got mine McD's today for lunch. I thought they deserved a break from their low fat turkey on wheat with a cheese stick and apple slices for lunch.

I'll be honest this sounds like something my husband would do.
My hubby is somewhat linear, i.e.
eating + drinking = good
not eating + drinking = bad
So yeah, it might just be that he's a guy and this seemed rational.
