..they were not your siblings? Do you like them? hang out with them? bottom line would they be a friend if they were not blood relatives?

I have two sisters. One sister is absolutely one of my closest friends. The other I don't really like. I love her cause she's my sister but she wouldn't be someone I'd choose to hang out with

YES! I have the best siblings ever. And, knock on wood, the significant others we've chosen so far are awesome as well! We're still waiting on my youngest brother to find a mate, but hopefully we'll get along with her too!!!! (We did really like his last girlfriend and my sister still uses her as a babysitter!) My favorites nights are hanging out playing games with my siblings.

My sister and I get along great, for the most part. But she's very selfish and I tend to overlook it because she's my sister. I don't know for sure if we'd be friend's or not. There's a lot I truly love about her, but some if her behaviors I may not overlook for just a friend.

My youngest brother, no. He's always so serious and so quiet. Takes a lot for him to laugh and enjoy himself and I'm the total opposiite

That's awesome. I use to be close like that with my sister but then she married a complete and total douche and he basically ruined our relationship as well as cause tension all over the family. He's an a$$hole, fingers crossed that ends so we can be close again. She can do so much better.
But I digress, lol. To answer the OP, yes, my sister and I would be friends. My brother, not sure. He tends to be a little immature and he's not settled down like I am so there isn't a ton of common ground. He's a lot to handle at times. lol
As for DH, he would not be friends with his siblings at all if they weren't related. They have absolutely NOTHING in common. He's so different from them.

My brother and I shared one to, but to hear us talk you would never know it. I grew up realizing the problem and getting my ass beat daily. He grew up in a fairy tail  We would not be friends. We differ in the most important ways and share no moral common ground. He is mean, rude, and arrogant.

My sister and I are VERY different (her quiet and reserved, me tough and outspoken) so on that alone I don't know we would have ever met if we weren't siblings. However we are very close and rely on our difference to counterbalance each other. I couldn't imagine my life without her. Although when we were young we fought like cats and dogs

I am the baby of 7 and I can honestly say that I would absolutely be friends with all but 1 of them. That one is mainly because there is such a huge age difference and distance most of my life that I don't really know him. All the others without a doubt. To throw another thing out t here, because some are much older than I am, they have kids closer in age to me and I can honestly say as well that one of my nieces is also not only my niece but one of my closest friends, we talk about everything.

Oh my God my brother and my sister are like my left and right arms. I mean, literally, I can't live without them. We are inseparable and I love them more than anything. It's an interesting question - I've never thought, would I be friends with them - I can't even picture them as anything but my siblings. But yeah, they are like my best friends. My whole life I've never befriended lots of people - I only really needed or wanted a few close friends and I think it's because I have my siblings. They are all I need.

My sister, absolutely. We are best friends and DH would say "annoyingly" close. Our brothers and parents know that you can't tell one of us something without the other finding out about it pretty much instantaneously.
My brothers... maybe. My youngest brother is 10 years younger than I am so we don't have a ton in common but we do go out to dinner and hang out on occasion when he's home from college. We'd probably be more like casual friends. My other brother I hardly ever see. We get along fine but I feel like he's at that stage that some people go through in their mid 20's where he's just not that into hanging out with family.

I have a brother who is almost 9 years younger than me and a sister who is 2.5 years younger. My brother and I have always been close, but growing up my sister and I HATED each other and could not have been more different if we tried.
Today, they are both my best friends in the world and the three of us are SUPER SUPER close and do everything together. I would DEFINITELY be friends with them.
My sister is THE KINDEST person I know, and my brother, can be an ass, but is fun as hell.

I get along really well with both of my brothers now. They are total opposites of each other, but I really appreciate each of them. I'm glad they're my brothers. We have a large age gap (5 & 10 years older than me) so I don't know if we would have been friends if we weren't siblings.
