Siblings - would you befriend them if...
My brother is autistic so it doesn't really apply...but I can answer for Hubby and tell you he definitely would NOT be friends with his sister if they weren't related!!! They really aren't even friends now, they barely talk and she doesn't have much interest in our lives.

I have 3 siblings.
1 brother, 1 half-sister and 1 half-brother.
My brother: ABSOLUTELY. He's one of my favorite people in the world.
My half-sister: Definitely not. We have nothing in common and I generally don't like her or her personality.
My half-brother: Hard to say because he's 11 years younger than me (he just turned 18)...but I'd like to think we'd be friends.

Some yes and some no.
I actually don't speak to my sister for that reason. I wouldn't choose to have person in my life like her and just because she is my sister doesn't mean I need to.
It's sad but that's how I feel.
