People are people. I see no issues with heterosexual parents, homosexual parents, 2 parent households, single parent households. Working parents, stay at home parents...
As long as a loving and nurturing environment is provided for the child(ren) anyone who choses to can be a parent.

I don't care so long as they're good parents. I know many hetero folks that should have their ability to reproduce taken away.. but I know some gay folks who would/do make awesome parents.
I am very good friends with a woman who grew up with gay parents.. she is quite well adjusted I may add.

I think it's their right. Everyone deserves equal rights.
Amen. My best friend and his partner are in the process of adopting now and it kills me that anyone would think they would not be good parents just because they're both men. If anything, I think they'll make better parents than some heterosexual parents I know.
It's like a knife to the heart that this is even something debatable in this day and age. (generally speaking)

More power to them!  Just because you're gay doesn't mean you shouldn't have the opportunity to experience parenthood. I think a gay couple can provide as much of a loving and caring home as any heterosexual couple and I cannot imagine denying anyone the amazing experience of being a mommy or daddy.

My mom is gay (my father died when I was 12 and then my mom started seeing a woman a year later) and I am for gay couples having children.

I think it's far better for a child to grow up with parents who are role models for how to love, care for and respect one another, regardless if those parents happen to be a same-sex couple or a heterosexual couple.
I support it 100% provided the couple is ready and willing to love a child unconditionally and accept all the responsibilities that come with it. I'd give the exact same caveat for a straight couple.
I've heard some terrible things said about what supposedly happens to kids who grow up with gay parents, and it breaks my heart.  There are plenty of people out there who are parents who should never have become parents. Denying someone who would be a great parent the opportunity to have that experience, based purely on their sexual orientation, is disgusting.

I agree with other posters about being all for it as long as the child is going to be raised in a loving home with supportive parents.
However, I tend to wonder how hard it is for that child growing up. We all know how evil reality is and how horrible kids can be.

I think its perfectly fine. I'd much rather see a child with two loving homosexual parents than in an abusive or otherwise bad home life with heterosexual parents. I dont think the sexual preferences of the parents should matter in the least bit as long as they love and care for the child with all their hearts.

I think its great, any parents in a stable relationship are in a great place to raise kids. The school where Noah is going to has the highest rate of same sex parents in the region.

I'd like to think this is changing now that it's becoming more and more common. And I think it's OUR responsibility to teach OUR children that there's nothing wrong with it.
I have friends who have a son that they fought very hard to get - he is THE most important thing in the world to them both and they're great parents. They all love one another so much it's an example to everyone, gay or straight.

I wouldn't even give it thought enough to pose a question about it. To me it's the same as hetero couples having children, parents are parents. As long as you love and provide for your child, who cares? Same as interracial couples, I don't think anything about it enough to pose a question about what people's thoughts are about it. To me there's no distinction and I don't think twice or even notice. People are people. Live and let live.

To be completely honest, I have very conflicted feelings about it. My deep religious beliefs versus my "live and let live" beliefs....very conflicted....kind of like creation vs. evolution for me. I struggle with several topics like this.
