Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I put it on speaker phone and tuck it between my boobs.
I saw a few people holding it right to their ear today and thought to myself I would never do that out of fear of tickets.

Same. I do very little driving so anything hands-free's not worth it.

All of the above, except the "never" option.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I usually use my bluetooth but if it's not charged I use the speaker phone - but I try to only use the phone at red lights if I don't have my hands free.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
My new car has the bluetooth built in - it turns down the radio and links in so I can just talk via a speaker in the ceiling. I love it, even if I don't have much need to use it. I can set it up to dial via voice command using a button on the steering wheel to activate it.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
My phone is synced with my car's blue tooth. so the second my phone rings, my car picks it up and to answer, all I have to do is press the button on my steering wheel.
To make a call, it's all voice activated. I just press the button on the steering wheel and say "call home" and it does.
My phone never comes out of my bag in the car. Love the blue tooth feature!

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I pull over and stop if I need to talk on the phone. I use speaker all of the time because I don't know if there is radiation coming out of the phone or not and would rather be safe.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
If I need to I tell the person to hold on and put it on speaker, I find it more of a hassle with my phone to connect the bluetooth b/c I have to go into the menu and connect to the device etc...

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
Nothing is important enough to warrant talking on the phone while I'm driving. My sister in particular doesn't understand that line of thinking and calls me when she knows I'm leaving work. I would sit in my parking lot to get the conversation over with before I put it in drive. Now I just don't answer because she should get the idea by now!

Same....this was a huge option that I required of the new vehicle I just bought!

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I dont answer the phone...I dont touch it. If I had a hands free set I would use that. Since I don't then I don't bother with my phone at all. The tickets are so expensive to risk it and its too dangerous too.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
Bluetooth, and if it's not charged, I'll use speakerphone.
My new phone does not have voice dialing, which is a problem for calling people, so I make fewer calls in the car now.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I rarely use the phone while driving, but if I do, it is on speaker and tucked into the visor so that I can hear. I also have OnStar, but never activated the phone part.

Same here, but I'm more of a nervous driver. So I'm too scared to use my phone!

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
I use my hands free to talk. If I have to send a text I pull over. 99.9% of the time I am on small local roads with no lights so that's why I pull over.

Re: Talking on the phone while driving
When I changed from a regular phone to my BB, my bluetooth connection was horrible so I use the speakerphone and throw it in the cup holder.
