And thanks for the kudos on the not smoking, its not as hard this time. Maybe bc Im running and more committed than I have been in the past.

Did week2day2 of c25k last night. My knees were trashed afterwards but I took some Advil and iced them, feeling much better today. I am taking the day off and finishing week 2 tomorrow. Keep it up ladies!!!

30 day shred continues-24 days straight!

I ordered cardio max DVD. After 30 days I am going to alternate 30 day shred and cardio max.

I know I've said this already this week but I want to keep throwing it out the the universe: I am very nervous about my WW weigh in on Sunday. I have been PERFECT this week. If I am not down (and BIG) I am going to throw myself out a window.

As for me (AFM), I did W1D2 of c25k yesterday and MANNN that is so intense! I started off with my legs/calves/ankles already burning from day 1, but I pushed through it and did it! My face is BRIGHT RED like this guy Chat Icon afterward for so long! Even after a cold shower!! My body is definitely feeling it from this workout, but I'm really trying to stick with it. I'm super nervous for week 2! I can barely make it through week 1!

Okay, so I did 30ds only once...how on EARTH do you do it on consecutive days when you are so sore your range of motion is SHOT? I think I'm even more sore, 2 days after the fact. I haven't felt like this in YEARS. Maybe because I used to work out six days a week and this is the first workout I've had since...oh...probably a year & a half now!Chat Icon

So seriously, those that did 30ds, did you just keep at it, no matter how damn sore you were and how little you could really move without pain? I feel like I need to recover before I can go back to it...and back when I worked out I always took a day off in between when I did weights, especially if I was sore. I'm just not used to being sore from HEAD TO TOE!Chat Icon

Note to self...DO NOT go for a long walk with DS while wearing flip flops...it was too hot for sneakers and now I'm paying for it! My calves are KILLING me!!!!

Not successful in the smoking area (again)...I seriously need to stop and I know I do, I just am having a REALLY hard time! I will again attempt tomorrow...wish me luck!

Week 2 of C23K this week...so far so good!

God give me strength! I m in Hershey right now and Im so tempted. Ive been really good with meals (except on a reststop over here I had McDs, but I had a nugget happy meal so I didnt have AS much) then today we spent day one at Hershey and I totally caved and had a hershey chocolate shake...I HAD TO! Im going to regret this when I get back. I havent been running or workingout bc the gym in the hotel grosses me out and their is no place to run otherwise.

The good news is tomorrow is TWO weeks smoke free!

6/7. Week 1

Lost exactly 4 Lbs Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
on 1st week

Diet: WW

1st day, I had ice cream and it blew 23 points by itself. I did not make the same mistake for the rest of the week. I had about 19.5 pts left of my "extra allowance" (because of the icecream). Made sure not to use the rest.

Had to adjust my daily point allowance. I had signed up as "mostly sitting" when in fact that was not the case this week at all.

LOTS of cooking. Trying to cook chicken for several meals. Easier that way.


Workout:

No "real" workout per se but MAJOR gardening. 1.5-2 hours or more everyday. Weeding and digging! Sweated for sure!! Chat Icon Accumulated LOTS of activity points on top of activy for my work.

Did not use any of my activity points (58 pts) for the week.


DH is doing it WW with me. It helped a lot to stay on target.

I did-I am on day 28 (tonight will be day 29). I just pushed through each day and it did get easier. Still challenging but easier. Of course, then you kick it up to the next level and start through the whole cycle again.

Each time I was ready to jump a level, I was nervous, didn't think I could do it. But, I could and I did. You will do great. I'm certainly no fitness/exercise buff, and I stick mostly with Anita (who does the milder version of a lot of the moves) but I get through it.

Week 1 -

Zero loss. I'm ok with this, as I only started my diet in earnest yesterday Chat Icon . But I am super motivated now and hoping for a good loss this week.

Workouts - I am up to week 2 day 3 of C25K, but my knees are really really bad right now. I did 25 minutes on the elliptical Saturday and 1.5 hours of gardening/planting yesterday. I need to take a break from impact stuff for a few more days I think and see if my knees improve. Hoping to resume running on Thursday (?).

Vacations are hard-even just being aware and not letting it go completely is going to help you. You'll do "less damage" than you normally would (or at least, this is true for me) so that is awesome.

Endurance - have you seen any changes since you started your workout plan?

Diet Progress - how have you been with your diet plan? sticking to it? having rough weekends? indulging here and there?

Workout Progress - havent worked out since Thursday (again.....vacation). But I did do day 2 of JM, and Day 1 and 2 of week 2 last week. Back on track tomorrow.

Body- I won't get on the scale yet...not ready for that!!! Clothes seem to be fitting different...some days better than others!
Endurance - Gets better each day!
Diet Progress - I've been sticking to it...had carrots and celery for lunch with fat free dressing...smaller portions at dinner and NO snacking!
Workout Progress - Still on week 2 of C23K...Wii 2-3x a week and walking almost every other day with 35lb DS in stroller.

Body-Big changes! My pats are falling off. Lost 2lbs this week.
Endurance -Much better. I don't get out of breath during workouts anymore.
Diet Progress -Totally on point.
Workout Progress -ran 1.5 miles, pushing for 1.7.

Body - Lost 1.3 - I think it's all the water I drank.
Endurance - eh...working on it. I need to forget how I used to workout before & just think about now.

Workout Progress - Got my new sneaks last night. Did JFArms, need to increase weights to challenge myself. Repeating w1d1 on c25k.

Body - No changes. I weigh-in on Fridays and have been gaining basically every weekend, but I FINALLY maintained this weekend, so hoping for a loss this week. Chat Icon 1 lb!
Endurance - Seeing changes! I did the first week of c25k and it was really hard on my body! I've been pushing through it though and I'm nervous to start week 2.
Diet Progress - Only had ONE BITE of chocolate molten cake that I "split" with DH. Had a piece of cheesecake in honor of Rue Mclanahan on Thursday though! Was okay Saturday. Had a crepe at a fair on Sunday.
Workout Progress - Will be starting week 2 of C25k tomorrow. I'm doing Tues/Thurs/Sat. I'm nervous about how hard it's going to be! Week 1 was extremely difficult for me! I didn't think I'd make it through! Also, have been doing 10 minutes of abs 4x/week (standing ab exercises from On Demand)

Week 2, and I am happy to report:

Body-down 4.2 this week!!!

Endurance -Able to get through 30 day shred-it's work but I get through it.

Diet Progress - I'm on WW, I've been on it since Feb and have lost 28.2 total. I do indulge, but since I am really obsessed with weight loss right now, my indulgences are small.

Workout Progress - tonight is day 29 or 30 day shred. I ordered biggest loser Cardio Max. Once that comes, I plan to alternate between the 2 DVDs.

My WI is tomorrow morning, but I'm not hopeful. I weighed myself this morning & it showed me up one lb. I went to a bridal shower yesterday & blew it. The good food I limited myself on, but then I went overboard with the desserts that weren't that great. A huge kick in the azz for me.

Anyway - tonight was a video - Jiggle Free Arms. Got through it ok. Missed when I knew all the steps - I'll get there again.

Tomorrow I'm suppose to start w2d1 of c25k, but I think I'm going to repeat week one - I'm probably the only person in the world to repeat it, but I want to feel comfortable & I just don't yet. Chat Icon

I got them tonight! They feel great. I can't wait to try them tomorrow when I do c25k!

I just use the c25k app on my phone. It's great - lets you use your own downloaded music!
