I only lost 1.6 pounds as of this past Thursday- my second weigh-in. I was a bit surprised since the first time I did WW I dropped about 4 pounds the first week.
I have also been either walking or doing the cross trainer/elliptical at the gym- except for yesterday and today. I got lazy this weekend. I also went way over my points this weekend. Back on track tomorrow.

Body - Lost 1.6 Lbs. Adjusted my pts to be more accurate with true level of activity. Clothes are getting loser on me.
Endurance - Feel lighter. Gardening seems a lot easier.
Diet Progress - Hard for 2 days in the middle of the week. Felt like eating salami and cheese the whole day. But stayed focused and motivated. So I used 5 points worth of pretzel so I could stay on tract and not use my points. Did not use any extra points this week. Getting easier to get to know how many points food are.
Workout Progress - Gardening was a bit less than last week. Did not use activity points for week. Feel I need to keep gardening to maintain my activity level. This is my only 'workout' so I feel and want to maintain something physical each day.

Initial...
Body- I won't get on the scale yet...not ready for that!!! Clothes seem to be fitting different...some days better than others!
Endurance - Gets better each day!
Diet Progress - I've been sticking to it...had carrots and celery for lunch with fat free dressing...smaller portions at dinner and NO snacking!
Workout Progress - Still on week 2 of C23K...Wii 2-3x a week and walking almost every other day with 35lb DS in stroller.
Overall goal is to loose 25-30 lbs, tone what muscle I do have and not try to actually enjoy exercising!

Week Two has been a rough one for me...both kids have been sick, floors are getting sanded and stained, so basically my exercise for the week has been moving furniture!
I did however walk 3.5 miles on Friday...endurance has been getting better and I just feel better about myself!
Back on track today...I will be re-doing week 2 C25K since I missed so much last week...continuing with the Wii and looking for other more intense workouts!

Carolyn Body - down .5 lb. Endurance - no workouts other than weights this week due to knee injury Diet - Was great all week, weekend was a disaster because I had family in and we had DCs christening so I ate and drank like I was going to the electric chair Chat Icon Workout - knees FINALLY feeling better, I walked 30 minutes yesterday and I'm ready to start slowly again. I am going to do a week of elliptical before resuming/restarting(?) C25K next week.
cookiemonster Body - definitely feeling more toned and clothes are looser. Down another 1 lb this morning but I think I actually lost a bit more than that - I ate a lot of salt at dinner last night. May weigh in again mid-week to check. Endurance - I really pushed myself last week and it actually felt good to be exhausted after every workout. Diet Progress - doing well on WW! Not eating most of my activity/flex points. Workout - Did kickboxing, spinning and a treadmill intervals class last week.
CrankyPants Body - Because I went away, I missed my WW weigh in this week so I don't know how much I lost/gained. We shall see next week! Endurance - Still doing 30 day shred, getting better. I start alternating with Cardio Max tonight-cardio usually kills me so we shall see on that too! Diet Progress - Good during the week, challenges this weekend since we went away and had my son's Christening party, but that was only 3 days and I am back on track now that I am home! Workout Progress - I just made another mini-goal, to go 30 days straight alternating Cardio Max and 30 DS.

eddiesmommy Body - no visible changes, my pants are fitting better though.
Endurance - Ill have to see tonight, it was great on day 1 of week 3 of the C25K last week, but then I had a knee injury set back and took the rest of the week off from all exercising last week to let it heal. Starting back up again today. Diet Progress - I was on vacation in Hershey last week and didnt work out and STILL managed to lose 2.3lbs!!!!!!!! Im down a total of 8.8lbs! Workout Progress - Did workout last week after knee injury. I just did day 1 wk 3 of C25K and then rested. Im going to start week 3 fresh today. Ive also decided that WITH the running the JM 30 day shred was too much high impact for me knees. So I bought a stability ball and a stability ball DVD to use for a workout instead on my non-running days since there is virtually no impact on my knees. Im also still doing the Perfect Abs DVD. My most exciting development....I signed up for a cardio kickboxing class in Smithtown

JennyPenny Body - Definitely feeling a bit of a difference. I'm not feeling as huge as usual and I feel like my love handles and thighs have slimmed a tiny bit. Weigh in isn't until Thursday so i'll update then. Endurance - Definitely MUCH better! I have SO much more energy since I work out almost every day. I do the elliptical at the gym every time and I am up to 40 minutes, resistance starting at one and today I got up to TEN! Woo hoo! Diet Progress - I was pretty bad this past weekend, using up almost all of my extra weekly points with 4 days left to the week, but what can ya do? Workout Progress- Just bought two 5 pound weights today so i'll be adding upperbody/arm workouts every day.

Today is 3 weeks not smoking also!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diet: Follow Insanity Elite Nutrition Guide as much as possible. Eating 6 meals a day for a total of 2,300 calories daily.
Workout Plan: Insanity delux workout program (currently on my 5th week) 6 days a week. Incorporating Insanity upper body weight lifting 3xs week .Turbo Jam fat blaster video 6 days a week and Brazilian Butt lift.. High and tight/ Bum Bum 3xs a week.
Goals:Loss 20lbs. Build endurance/muscle Reduce body fat %
Looking forward to the challange thanks again! =)

HI! I'm here! I've just been insanely busy this week.
I don't have any idea how much I lost, I had AF last week so I didn't weigh myself. I also JUST bought a scale for the house.
I've been sticking with the diet (except for lunch on Saturday - i had a bacon cheeseburger - i SAID i had AF!! ), doing SOME sort of physical activity everyday: either 30ds, c25k, brisk walking, or sometimes on an occasional lazy day I just do couch crunches and leg lifts.
Making a menu for the whole week on Sunday or Monday is really saving me a lot of time and aggravation during the week.
This coming week is consumed by Dr appts, tuxedo fittings, BM dress alterations, father's day shopping (still have 2 people left to buy for!), etc., so I really have to make time for myself in there somewhere.
Thanks for keeping me on track!!!

ok. I am dipping my big toe in the exercise pool.
going for a 30 minute walk today at lunch
Diet - limit sweets, up veggie intake overall. not "dieting"
Workout Plan - 30-45 min walks 5 times a week for a week. add in short runs, building up to 30 mins straight running. ultimate goal is 5 miles
Goals - lose 20 lbs, get my abs back.

Hello ladies. I'm sorry that I haven't updated at all. I am ashamed to say that I haven't done ANYTHING that I set out to do when we signed up to do this challenge. I have not restarted WW nor have I started the C25K program. I am in a real funk and cannot seem to get my asss in gear, which is really stressing me out because ultimately, I have over 100lbs to lose. I did buy new sneakers at the running store and I also signed up for a 4 mile run in Sayville on my birthday (Aug 7th) but at the rate I am going now, I won't be able to friggin walk it!!
The only shred of exercise I did was last Friday, I took both DDs for a long walk to Starbucks which according to my car odometer, was 2.2 miles and afterwards DH and the older kids met us for dinner so we had a ride home and on Sat. I walked to Starbucks again with my DDs and walked all the way home, so I got in 4.4 miles. Other than that, nothing.
I asked DH to clean out the garage and get my treadmill cleaned up so I can get my fat asss on it, which he did for me Sat night. I half heartedly looked for my sports bras yesterday and today, to no avail- DH and I are in the process of moving from our old bedroom to our new extension. I make myself nauseous everytime I look in the mirror, and yet, I still fail to get on the treadmill or eat better!! W.T.F. is wrong with me!! I am just so tired from working full time and not sleeping more than 6 hours per night, that I can't seem to make these positive changes. Does anyone have any words of help/encouragement to get me on track. I feel like I am drowning.

ok, I'm just an LIF slacker these past weeks.
Week 1- Did C25K week 1- completed JM- 2x Abs nightly watched what I ate down 1.5lbs
Week 2- Did C25K week 2- completed JM 3x watched what I ate down another 1lb
Week 3- FAILURE/VACATION/NADA!
Week 4- Begins June 15 for me, I'm all sorts of off. and def. gained back my weight while in St. Thomas. I suck.

Hello ladies. I'm sorry that I haven't updated at all. I am ashamed to say that I haven't done ANYTHING that I set out to do when we signed up to do this challenge. I have not restarted WW nor have I started the C25K program. I am in a real funk and cannot seem to get my asss in gear, which is really stressing me out because ultimately, I have over 100lbs to lose. I did buy new sneakers at the running store and I also signed up for a 4 mile run in Sayville on my birthday (Aug 7th) but at the rate I am going now, I won't be able to friggin walk it!!
The only shred of exercise I did was last Friday, I took both DDs for a long walk to Starbucks which according to my car odometer, was 2.2 miles and afterwards DH and the older kids met us for dinner so we had a ride home and on Sat. I walked to Starbucks again with my DDs and walked all the way home, so I got in 4.4 miles. Other than that, nothing.
I asked DH to clean out the garage and get my treadmill cleaned up so I can get my fat asss on it, which he did for me Sat night. I half heartedly looked for my sports bras yesterday and today, to no avail- DH and I are in the process of moving from our old bedroom to our new extension. I make myself nauseous everytime I look in the mirror, and yet, I still fail to get on the treadmill or eat better!! W.T.F. is wrong with me!! I am just so tired from working full time and not sleeping more than 6 hours per night, that I can't seem to make these positive changes. Does anyone have any words of help/encouragement to get me on track. I feel like I am drowning.
Hey, dont beat yourself up. Maybe youre not exercising bc you havent found an exercise that you like doing? I CANNOT tell you how many times I have signed up for the gym only to NEVER go, not once. I started the C25K though and I LOVE it. So for me, the gym isnt my thing, but I love running. Maybe try something different, that doesnt seem like such a chore, or torture to do. Maybe Zumba, or a kickboxing class (I just signed up for 3 classes for $19.99) to just try it first. Are you the type who needs to be scheduled maybe? For instance, if you have a class you have to be at, then youll show up?
You know what I did like....Curves. Its personal, and quiet, yet effective and youre not on display like at other gyms, which I HATE!
I know its hard to find the time, I get that! But even 3 days a week, for 1/2 an hour. As far as being tired, for me at least....Ive been finding I have WAY more energy and am less sluggish since Ive been working out. I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like you could use some "me time" just to clear your head. So finding the time to exercise could be good in that sense too!
From what I read too, maybe set smaller goals first, so you dont get discouraged or disappointed. Instead of focusing on the 100+ lbs, maybe focus on 10lb intervals, or inches instead of lbs? Maybe instead of having the C25K as your goal, make it, get out a walk for 20 mins 3Xs a week. I think focusing on smaller goals instead of the big daunting picture could help. Build up to the bigger goals, with smaller goals first.
Also, just know, it sucks, I hate having to be on WW, I so badly want McDs (and I have caved, I have) and thats OK! You just have to get back up and dust yourself off. No one has a perfect run all the way through, we all have set backs.
Do you have a friend/family member or an LIFer to workout with? Maybe a workout buddy will be motivating since you are held accountable by someone else?
As for the WW.....my only advice, is, if you want to do it....go, drag yourself kicking and screaming, but do it and then go back. You need to give yourself a month or so before it all (the WW, the exercise) bc routine like.....and actually feels like part of your day.
I felt like HE_LL 3 weeks ago when I was working out, but I stuck with it and now Im actually starting to look forward to it. You just have to stick it out, even when you dont want to, even when it sucks.
So try and if you feel yourself slipping, thats what we are all here for, we will pick you back up. We are all in this challenge together. Defintely go easier on yourself though!
ETA: this DVD is FANTASTIC, I used it after DS was born.
