Just over 4. They hit the max weight (40lbs) at 4 for the 5 pt harness seat I have at that age. Well my younger son just turned 4 this past week and is at 40lbs so he needs to be moved as soon as I buy another booster for him. He asks me everyday. I need to move my 5 mo old to his convertible car seat soon as she is over the height and almost at the weight limit for her infant carrier anyway.
