Will you be really upset or mad if YOUR candidate doesn't win?
To answer my own question...YES I really will be. I am afraid to see what will happen with this country.

No. I won't be REALLY mad or upset. I might be disappointed - but I live in a great country and although my vote COUNTS - it isn't the only voice that needs to be heard.

I'll be a little scared. The last two elections didn't go the way I wanted and I'm a little worried about where our country is right now because of that!

Re: Will you be really upset or mad if YOUR candidate doesn't win?
I wouldn't be upset or mad as long as the election is done correctly & there is no BS. I won't be mad but for the first time in 8 years, I'll be praying for a President's health.
I'm concerned what the next 8 years is going to bring no matter who gets in office. However if the candidate that I prefer in office doesn't get in, I think the way I'll get through it is the pure mocking that will be taking place of the VP.

ITA!
ETA: I will not like paying more taxes if my candidate does not win and financially it would SUCK for us. BUT what can I do at that point? Move to France?

I agree. The thing that makes me the most nervous is having an extremely right-wing, evangelical person as the VP.
Also, as someone who teaches in an inner city school, I have a lot of concerns about McCain's lack of specificity in his education policy. Everything is very general and rhetorical. In 2000, when he was seeking the nomination, he had much better ideas.

Not mad, just....nervous that this country may no longer be what our founding fathers intended it to be.

Re: Will you be really upset or mad if YOUR candidate doesn't win?
nervous. It seems like in the past few years, our circle of peers have more degrees under their belt, working more hours...yet doing worse then a couple of years ago. I don't feel like we are moving in the right direction, I feel a the gap widening and it makes me nervous.
I guess I never thought about it, but I really don't know that many republicans. This site has got me feeling queesy lately. Its like access into the young republican's mind. Thought processes are so different. Mindsets really aren't that alike at all.
So without this site, I may have just been upset if my candidate did not win. Now, it will leave me feeling sort of sick.
