DH did the Marine Corps marathon last year with TNT. It was such a great time! I went to DC to watch (27.2 is a little too much running for me... ) and it was really inspirational (sounds mushy but it really was fantastic).
Keep up the good work!!!

Took a spinning class this morning...God I love spinning!
Tried the HIIT's afterwards....
I did - 5 minute warmup 9.0 miles fast/3.5 miles slow/ 5 sets I think I ended up doing the slow intervals for a little over 1 minute cuz I had to program the treadmill. I did make sure I did the fast for 30 seconds. I guess it was okay for my first time

I recently started to excercise, trying to get in shape for vacation, I hope this helps to keep me motivated. I just started this week doing the treadmill, haven't been feeling too well (sore throat, cold). Next week I will add to the workout. So far...
Sun.-50 min. Mon.-45 min. Tues.-50 min. Wed. 50 min. Thurs.-nothing Fri..- nothing Sat. (today) 45 min.

Sunday - gym day
Shoulders: Overhead dumbbell press - 3/15/10 Rear dumbbell flyes - 3/5/12 Side lateral dumbbell raise - 3/5/10
Back: Dumbbell shrugs - 3/15/10 Lat pulldowns, reverse grip - 3/70/10 Seated cable rows, wide grip - 3/60/10
Stairmaster - only lasted 20 minutes! But I blame it on the altitude (we're at just over 6,000 ft. here in Colorado)
Abs, stretch

We live here so its a convienant race. When I lived in San Diego I ran the Rock n' Roll marathon there, but that was 5 years ago!

Saturday - went to the outlets in PA and walked ALOT! from 10:30am to 2:00pm! so thats my workout for the weekend.
Today: 25 min HIIT on treadmill, 8sets at 3.6 and 9.0 weights-worked on arms and abs.
ETA: oh and I lost 3lbs! finally something!!

MrsBlueSash - that's impressive. I think about training for a marathon, but don't know if I could take the long runs.
Today - Legs Squats - 3/85/15 Leg Press - 3/140/15 Calf Press - 2/140/15 1/140/12 Leg Curls - 20/15-12-10 Calf Raises - 3/5/15 Leg Extensions - 3/60/15 Abs and Ran 5K on the treadmill in under 30 minutes this was an accomplishment for me!!!

All I did today was a step tape - Cathe Friedrich's Step Heat. I only could make it through half though

I've always done cardio after weights, so I guess my body is used to it. Besides, I run really slow now compared to what I used to do so I guess I am able to do it.
