2016 Weight Loss Challenge

Saturday
breakfast 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 avocado. I had two coffees at work today, and water

snack: banana

Lunch: salad, with chicken, red pepper, cucumber, kale and Boston lettuces, dressing, and 2 crackers. Took a few potato chips from friend

Dinner: left over Spaghetti squash (all done) last of the meatballs.

I don't cook every night....

I think I might have lost a few pounds, I weighted myself so I'll know by next Friday.

Keep up the good work ladies!!!!

PB&J on 100 calorie multigrain sandwich thin
1 - 6 oz gala Apple

Snack:
Part skim mozzarella string cheese
Romaine Lettuce and mustard vinaigrette

D:
2 cups homemade crockpot lentils w veggies
2 oz whole wheat pasta
2 Tbsp of Pecorino Romano cheese

100 oz water & 1 can black cherry seltzer

Herbalife Protein Shake,tea & aloe
Lunch: herbalife protein shake
Dinner: cofee with cream and sugar, chicken Caesar salad no croutons, 1 buffalo wing lol

Snack: two slices of honey ham cold cuts

Water: 72oz

Went out to watch the game so ate light during the day. Slightly cheated but didn't go beast mode like I usually do. Lol

I weigh in on Thursdays (posted my loss the other day) but I do measurements on Sundays...I have no patience on a workday morning to take measurements.

I'm down two inches (!!!) in my belly and waist. When I carry extra weight, it tends to be in my lower belly area so it's REALLY nice to see that change.
The rest of my measurements remained the same.

You have to be easy on yourself.. 1/2 bagel or 1 whole bagel isn't the worse thing. Just try to eat better and less calories for the rest of the day! Eat whole wheat if you can :)

Hummus is on a lot of diet plans including south beach!

That's awesome !

I wish I measured but I never think of it. Visually, my belly looks smaller and that's with AF lurking

Hoping I get it on time so my Friday weigh in will be accurate. If not, the scale may not budge or worse, go up. Fingers crossed

Great job! I wish I started taking measurements back when I began to lose weight- because some weeks where the scale won't budge, I know I'm losing based on the way my clothes fit.

Great job ladies! I am so glad this thread was started! I stayed on track all weekend. I am already felling anxious about weigh in on Friday, tempted to weigh in every 2 weeks. Even though I am doing well, I am afraid a dissapointing weigh in will do me in as it has in the past...

Thank you, but it's all smoke & mirrors compared to the hard effort you all are putting in- I had weight loss surgery 10 weeks ago, so I am only able to consume small portions at a time. My surgeon & nutritionist has me on a high protein/low carb & sugar diet. High protein is for all WLS patients, but I am on low carb/sugar to help combat my PCOS issues.

i didn't post originally, but would love to join late!

my goal is 35 lbs for the year.

i'm taking the slow and steady, lifestyle change and not a diet approach.

what i am doing:

- cut out sugar (11 days and no slip ups yet!)
- started a 30 day challenge with DH
- eat more veggies/fruits and less carbs (i try to make my lunch vegeterian/vegan)
- cut down on snacking

Food diary 1/11/16:
Breakfast:
- 6 oz fruit smoothie (banana, frozen fruit, water)
- 1 egg muffin (omelet made in muffin tin)
Lunch:
- Salad, no dressing
-3 oz pork
- 1 banana
Dinner (will be):
- 2 pork fajitas
Snacks:
-1 apple
-3 oz mixed nuts

only drinking water/unsweetened tea

since 1/1/16: down 1.8 lbs

Ahhhhhhh ok. gotcha. I was starting to wonder how you don't just go on a massive binge when eating so little! Now it makes sense.

1 serving kashi island Harvest cereal
1/3 cup 2% milk
1 banana

L:
Egg salad sandwich (2 eggs)
1 serving light mayo & some dijon mustard
Celery, onion, S&P flavoring.
1 - 100 cal fiber one sandwich thin (everything flavor)
3 medium sized carrots

S:
Lettuce w some mustard lemon vinaigrette

D:
4 oz filet mignon
1 Omaha steaks potatoes au gratin (looks like croquette )
String beans steamed then sautéed in garlic & olive oil
2 cups lettuce w balsamic vinegar and roasted peppers

100 oz water & 1 can black cherry seltzer

Went to fat-burning Pilates tonight and attempted yoga...it was a substitute teacher for yoga and she was kind of a condescending tw@t to some of the folks in the class. DH and I walked out of the class because she had such bad vibes...we ended up hitting the treadmills for a bit before heading home.

And of course I reported her to the management staff.

Over my 1000 calorie goal by 100 because I went overboard on the chili, was so hungry at dinner lol. Still no exercising, hoping to start up this week.
