You ladies are all doing so awesome. I am kinda frustrated. I weighed in on Tuesday and I only lost .5. I feel like I have been eating great and busting my a$$ at the gym. I have been weighing myself everyday ( I know its bad but I am compulsive) and nothing is happening..
Last spring I started eating better and hitting the gym. I took 4 classes a week. Cardio and strength. Also did weights at home and would walk 3 miles every morning. I did this for 2.5 months. I lost 3 lbs.
That was it. I realized that even though I was eating better and exercising my butt off, I wasn't eating the right things for ME. I was definitely stronger. My arms and legs were more toned. But I wasn't any smaller. Clothes fit the same.
That's why this time around I started with diet. I only just began adding exercise. And it's treadmill and today I took a Zumba class. I'm concentrating on what I'm eating more than working out and is already lost 4.4 lbs in 11 days. Weight loss is mostly diet. Exercise comes after. So be more aware of what you are eating. It may be what u need to see the scale go down

how long has it been that you've been changing your eating and exercising more? do you count calories?
I've lost 49 from the middle of June and yes I count calories. Just on a bit of a standstill now

Friday 1/15
B: 1 cup raisin bran crunch 1/3 cup 2% milk 1 banana
L: 2 eggs egg salad w/ light mayo and Dijon mustard S&P 1 large carrot 1 full celery stick
D: 2 cups chicken stir fry 1/2 cup brown rice
Water 80 oz & 1 can black cherry seltzer
Exercise: 45 minute Zumba class

Friday. 1/15 Breakfast: Egg white frittata,tea & aloe Lunch: Cauliflower mash, turkey meatloaf, corn Dinner: chicken avocado salad, 1 cup lobster bisque soup
Snack: skinny caramel macchiato, coffee with half and half and sugar
Water: 96oz

B: 2 eggs w some veggies 1/2 slice 2% cheese 1 100 cal fiber one end muffin 1/2 serving 1/3 fat cream cheese
L: PB&J on 100 cam multigrain round 1 medium Braeburn Apple
D: Applebee's 9 oz sirloin - didn't eat it all Steamed veggies Garlic mash - didn't eat it all Salad w honey mustard dressing on side (gave my husband the croutons / ordered without the bacon )
Exercise: 45 minutes treadmill
100 oz water Big glass of seltzer w lemon at dinner
First time eatin out since starting diet. Not bad 720 for steak dinner and I didn't eat everything 240 for salad and I didn't eat croutons or bacon so it's less
I had 1100 calories left at dinner time (gained a lot of exercise and step calories today) Ending the day with just over 100 left.

ugh i gained more weight today!! i just keep going up...
I'm now 4 lbs heavier than i was right before the holidays. I don't know what I am doing wrong although my activity level has decreased since I haven't been feeling 100%.
I really need to be like 8 lbs lighter by May for a wedding but by this rate it won't be happening.
I am eating so healthy though. I have almost no treats.

Weight remains the same but another inch off my waist and two inches off my thighs since I started taking measurements a few weeks ago. :)
Two classes today - 360-3X and Bodyweb Circuit with TRX.
Bayside: they're 30 minute classes :) Thanks for the encouragement!!! :)
Also, if anyone needs workout attire, I was in Old Navy yesterday and their stuff is 40% off. I've tried a lot of brands over the years and feel like their stuff is pretty good quality.
They're also doing a HUUUUGE clearance event...I bought an enormous bag full of stuff for $70!

No exercise today. Sunday relaxing day

I am -1 pound from lasts weeks weigh in (I do it in Monday's after the weekend). Not my 2lb/week goal but considering all the junk I ate yesterday's and few drinks I had over the weekend, I'm glad I was able to maintain. Finally made it to the gym this morning since I'm off.
