mine was too they are going to get an e-mail for me
Well i called then and he gave me a song and a dacne. He said that the mangers are in a meeting right now talking about what they are going to give us for what they did wrong.
lets see if they do. Well if i don't get a call or e-mail i will be calling again.

i called and spoke to THREE people and the last women (manager) is calling me tomorrow to let me know whats going on (she's supposedly calling the corporate office). The 1st two people i got refused to let me speak to a higher up and finally i caught one of them in a lie (he told me he was the only person dealing with this so i told him i am hanging up and calling back and will ask to find out if he is the only one in charge) and he got nervous and changed what he said so i told him i will have the tapes pulled to confirm he just said it and is now lying" well he transferred me right away to the final women i spoke with. I dont think anything will be done but i let them HAVE it and told them it was UNACCEPTABLE, etc. I'll keep you guys posted if she calls me back

This is why I am so flummoxed by the shock, fury, and condemnation of Target for making a mistake and then fixing it before it was shipped. Now if it was shipped and your credit card was charged AFTER that yes, light the torches. But at 8 am Diva Disaster posted the email that I am sure you will all get as soon as they sort it out. As I said, I am sure there is plenty of legal mumbo jumbo to protect them.
Maybe you get coupons out of this, but to I think the reactions are a bit much...

I saw someone selling some on craigslist brand new for $225, a few different style covers - same as the ones mentioned here. I wonder if that person actually has them or will have to pull their ad bc their Target orders got cancelled too.

while I am happy to hear you can afford 100s of Britax carseats and that your husband can get a huge discount to Target, all I was saying is that perhaps as an amends they can give some type of discount to those who ordered the seats, however almost everyone on this site knew that this was clearly a mistake so getting so FURIOUS and LIVID like they were getting screwed...and I am sure as the company sifts through the mess, everyone will get a form email in regards to it....

A lot of women were frustrated or mad b/c of it and the time and energy (and YES excitement that they got a GREAT car seat at a bargain price) that went into ordering, etc... but i think your out of line to tell all these ladies that they have no right to be annoyed b/c we all should have "assumed" from the beginning it was a mistake.
and i made that comment about the discount and being able to afford Britax's to demonstrate a point that its NOT about the $$ for most of the women on here...they can afford it too or get it as a gift, its the Principal of it that not everything is b/c of the "money"

Maybe I am THAT naive woman you are talking about. I ordered the carseat last night. Never thought it was not legit for 1 minute. Even discussed with DS as being such a great deal and we ordered when I really just found out I was PG and thought we could not pass the offer. Then people started talking it was a mistake and I did get mad. Businesses ARE responsible for their business. Aren't people accountable anymore?

well, I guess I misinterpreted the 15 posts and "taking it to the top" and "SO MAD" comments as being mad.
I would love to get a Britax seat for 42 bucks, but I think most people on here knew that was a pipe dream.
I know some people may have done it not realizing it was an errorand it stinks about that...but the ones loading up on 5-6 and talking about selling them, well, they knew it was coming...it's just not reasonable to expect to get it.
