while I am happy to hear you can afford 100s of Britax carseats and that your husband can get a huge discount to Target, all I was saying is that perhaps as an amends they can give some type of discount to those who ordered the seats, however almost everyone on this site knew that this was clearly a mistake so getting so FURIOUS and LIVID like they were getting screwed...

I would love to get a Britax seat for 42 bucks, but I think most people on here knew that was a pipe dream.

I don't think mommy2bella was implying that she was smarter than anyone else on here. If you read the posts last night, many people DID figure it was a mistake, so I think what she's saying is, for the people who figured it was a mistake, why be so mad? It's not like they charged you for it and they won't refund the money. You didn't get a carseat, they didn't get the money. Worse things have happened. I really don't think she was being judgemental at all.

You are the one saying that nobody has a right to be mad that we all knew it was a mistake. How are we supposed to understand what you said?
I thought like many people it was legit. And yes I have the right to be upset about this whole fiasco. Why do people think others should feel a certain way?
Some people bought a papasan swing last year and the same thing happened. People did get mad and it was "an error" in the end. Yet, people here felt it was wrong and fought for it. I feel Target was wrong. I felt misled. I have no idea whether it's a mistake or not. Or someone played a joke on the company or it was legit and they realized they had way too many orders to furfill. They ackowledged people orders, gave delivery dates, etc... I do have standards of responsibility. I do in my business.

And to not know that it MAY be a mistake...I mean, ALL of the related posts AND MORE are related.
I am sorry you are mad...but venting on me and getting personal isn't gonna get you a 42.99 Britax carseat.

This is why I am so flummoxed by the shock, fury, and condemnation of Target for making a mistake and then fixing it before it was shipped. and i made that comment about the discount and being able to afford Britax's to demonstrate a point that its NOT about the $$ for most of the women on here...they can afford it too or get it as a gift, its the Principal of it that not everything is b/c of the "money"

I would love to get a Britax seat for 42 bucks, but I think most people on here knew that was a pipe dream.
I know some people may have done it not realizing it was an errorand it stinks about that...but the ones loading up on 5-6 and talking about selling them, well, they knew it was coming...it's just not reasonable to expect to get it.
I guess next time I will make sure to ask you first since you are so smart and knew right away it was a mistake. And that only people who bought one carseat thought it was legit vs those who more than one.

If you read the posts last night, many people DID figure it was a mistake, so I think what she's saying is, for the people who figured it was a mistake, why be so mad? It's not like they charged you for it and they won't refund the money. You didn't get a carseat, they didn't get the money. Worse things have happened. I didnt get to order one, since the glitch was caught before I had that chance, but realistically I figured it was an error and it probably wouldnt happen anyway.
Last year Amazon.com had a wide screen, big screen TV fior $35- so DH and I ordered it, and paid for the shipping; even though we knew that a few zeros were left off and the order would be cancelled. Sure enough it was, 2 days later
I mean it would be awesome if Target honored its glitch, but seriously look at the econonmy right now... They'd be taking a $200 loss/carseat- Im sure over 100 were ordered just for LIF moms, lets not even talk about the rest of the world... Target is not going to take a big hit like that- not now in this economy.
