i used two bags
the labor bag i used a duffle bag and had in it for me and DH
camera
book
PSP
Snacks
cell phones and chargers
baby book (where you fill in stuff)
Any pre-admission forms
ipod

for my hospital bag (i used a carry on luggage)
few pairs of loose pants (be sure they arent tight elastic if you get a c section)
tanks (nursing and regular)
bra (nursing)
toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, deoderant, etc)
flip flops
regular underwear, the next cut up from bikini cut (high cut?). i only used them the last day though, i used the disposable ones they gave me.
hair ties, brush, mousse

i packed make up but didnt use it. i didnt pack soap and used the hospitals and hated it, i would pack your own soap. also i didnt pack a wash cloth and i didnt like the ones they gave me, it was like a heavy duty paper towel.
i packed socks but didnt use them cuz i was hot the whole time
