DS #1 - No. He is 2.5 and my ped did not give it at the time. He said it hadn't been out long enough for him to feel comfortable that the issues had been resolved that led to the recall of the original.
DD #2 - No. Ped now gives it but, wasn't pushing it. Many factors but...the fact that some peds still don't give it and that I am a SAHM led me to b/v its not worth the potential side effects. I hesitated more with DD though b/c DS will be in school soon and who knows what he will bring home.

nope, since my DD is watched by family and not in daycare the ped said it wasn't necessary.

Yes, mostly because I know someone's child who had the virus (pre-vaccine) and it was not good.

It wasn't a vaccination when I had my first DD and she ended up getting the actual virus. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. She spent 3 days in the hospital; it was terrible. She was sooooo sick and so hard to watch her go through that illness.
My second DD got the vaccination and I had no hesitation about that. Hands down I will risk the vaccination versus the virus.

No that is the only vaccine i chose to not to give at all. (Meaning she got all other vaccines on an alternate schedule)

DS#1 They didn't have it yet
He came down with the virus and he had to have a trip to the ER. It was horrible.
DS#2 ..yes without hesitiation! No reaction and no regrets.

No, I did not. Ped did not offer it, at his 2 month visit. If the ped gets it, and recommends it, I may give it then.
