Obesity is a HUGE health issue...
IMO making a point would have been to have your average HEALTHY model in a show..
Having an Obese woman is just as stupid as having sickly anorexic women?
Not getting the logic at all
but i never cared for JPG...his clothing desgins are way to out there for me

imo, its some random model in ill fitting lingerie. yes she is bigger then a zero, but it still makes no sense to me.
and i don't follow fashion so i can't comment on jpg.

I think it is great that someone who probably never thought they would get the opportunity to rock it in a JPG show was given the chance. This girl probably felt like a million bucks.
Obesity is a health issue, but I believe in order to combat it, self esteems need to be lifted and people need to feel good. Kudos to him for letting this girl rock it.

Sorry but i just do not see that as a self esteem builder..
in fact i think it is the complete opposite..
But ultimately we both do not know her to say either or...
But self esteem is a HUGE factor when ti comes to obesity and anorexia..
Neither should be put on display to make a POINT

Felt like a million bucks? I think she is being made fun of. No one would say that is sexy....Cellulite bulging everywhere under a too-tight maid's uniform...

Felt like a million bucks? I think she is being made fun of.
I don't know maybe, but I did not get that impression. I think, she is in a show, the crowd is applauding, music is pumping, huge rush..

probably right. That's why I think its someone who never thought they would get the chance. Maybe she's someone who is so into fashion, and this was her 5 minutes.

As for JPG's reasoning, I think it was a big FU. Looks to me he was trying to show that a plus-size woman isn't as appealing on the runway as the skinny models. (And he obviously exagerrated his statement by using a larger model instead of an average sized model.)

On Americas Next Top Model
there was this girl Toccara who was a PLUS size model
had that OVER THE TOP personality..
Worked the runway with her big personality and "confidence"
Well by episode 5...we saw the REAL Toccara...someone who was IN FACT very self conscious..
SO You can analyze this chick all you want...watch her
DOESN"T MEAN YOU KNOW SQUAT about how she really feels

No one knows either way. However she did CHOOSE to be in the shoot, and no one doesn't know that size 20 is not the norm for fashion modeling, so I don't think we need to pity her at all...
Maybe she felt great in that. Maybe she was like "w t f did I sign up for?" It's not REALLY relevent to the meaning of her inclusion in the show
