Re: opinion on wedding venue
I have to say we went to a private event at Insignia, not a wedding but a full private event and it was AMAZING. They did a fantastic job, food was AMAZING!

Let me know what your cousin says. 11,600 is high season Saturday night.
I just saw a commercial for q-zar. I'm tempted to have a laser tag wedding at this point
She paid 9k but was married on a Sunday. I forgot the Sunday part.

How about Alger House- Cute carriage house in http://www.manhattanpenthouse.com/alger.phpthe village??
I went to a wedding there that had 75 guests. It was spectacular. If that's too small, their other location is Manhattan Penthouse.

The most expensive places are ones that only do 1 wedding at a time (Royalton, etc.) Any place that does more than 1 event a time can automatically discount their prices. Higher minimums will also lower the price per person. And then the day of the week/time will factor in also.
My friend had a beautiful wedding at the Palm Court at the Carltun, maybe that's a good option too!
Riviera at Massapequa is 1 Wedding at a time. We paid $69 PP ++ Friday night in April
It's not super fancy, it's more Cozy but the food was fantastic

I got married there and it was great. It's beautiful, perfect size for 100 people, one wedding a day so you can do whatever time you want. I know the guy I dealt with is gone now but he was amazing to work with and the food is really good. I haven't been overly impressed with food at a wedding in years other than one where the groom was the chef.
