Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
Got my BFP on December 1st. I am currently 5 weeks and 1 day.
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I used OPK's and kept on eye out for EWCM and just paid attention to my body.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) DH and I BD'd every night of the week of ovulation right before bed and then I went to sleep after. I made sure none of those little swimmers escaped.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I was going to wait until 13DPO but at 10DPO I couldn't take it and just was curious, i knew it might be too early. Boy was I shocked when I saw "Pregnant". 3 more tests confirmed. I am still in shock!
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I also took prenatal pills every day and took Robitussin once a day through my week of ovulation. Seemed to help.
Good luck all you TTCers!! I hope to see you all on the PG board!!
to you all!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)- I used the Clear Blue Easy digital tests to tell when I was about to ovulate, this was the first month I used the kits, second month of TTC
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) - I followed the every other day after my 8th CD , then when I got my positive for ovulation , I BD'ed every day for 3 days and that was it for the month
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)- I tested 12DPO and got a positive right away
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)- Took prenatals, evening primrose till ovulation, robitussin starting day 8 , after BD, kept a pillow under my bum for about 15 min, legs elevated

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
This is from my pregnancy with DS:
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) Temping / charting
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) I got 4 days in a row so we BD'd 4 3 and 2 days before O and day of O.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) Did not test until 14DPO and so glad I waited - the test was positive while I was still peeing
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I took a multi-vitamin and folic acid for months before we TTC but I don't think that helped me get pregnant - it helped me have a (thankfully) healthy baby.

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
I dont think this will really help anyone but here it goes anyway
Got my BFP on December 9th. I am currently 7 weeks and 3 days.
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I used OPK's but in november i never got my smiley so we just bd'd whenever we felt like it, around thanksgiving it must have happened, and my thoughts were that i didnt ovulate so i was automatically out for that month
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) DH and I BD'd whenever we felt like around 14,15,16 days after AF
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I dont know when i ovulated so i honestly dont know how many days past ovulation i was, i didnt have any more tests left at home and we were in cvs bc my DH had to buy a knee brace and hes like just buy a test (AF was due 12/8-12/10) and im like noooo im not testing just to get another BFN - and hes like you look different, your face looks different, i have a feeling, so we got a test I POTS and first only one line came up and I screamed from the bathroom I TOLD YOU ITS A NO, and then slowly magically i saw another faint line, my heart almost collapsed, and i show DH and he says thats not a line but i say yes it is according to LIF a line is a line :) I posted here and we went to get a digital and it came up yes !!! :)
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I also took cvs prenatals and extra folic acid sometimes, it wasnt religiously.
good luck to you all, may 2009 bring you all what you have been praying and waiting for
to you all!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I used OPK and mymonthlycycles.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) The month I got a BFP we BD on the day I got my smiley and the next-that was it for that cycle. I didn't think it was going to work and it did.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I actually found out I was pregnant in my 8th week-I had bad implantation bleeding, which I thought was AF-it wasn't!!!
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) Nothing!
Good Luck!!!!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
First of all Thank you to everyone on this board for all your love and support it truly was all of you who helped me learn so much!! we got our BFP on Dec. 16th our 4 month anniversary!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I only used OPK's and got my smiley on CD14 and another on CD15--oh and BD'ing!!lol
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) This month I was determined to do Deanna's plan, but that did not last to long we started at CD9 once I got my positive on the OPK we BD that night and the next two nights skipped two nights and BD again
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) shamefully I tested at 8DPO and 10DPO and got BFN's both times I finally got my BFP at 13DPO
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) none that I can think of
My only symptoms were cramping way before AF was due I even posted that on here, and falling asleep really early-that's when DH got suspicious
So to all that are still waiting IT WILL HAPPEN --you all deserve it you are all amazing women!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
I don't know if this will help at all...I am currently 7 weeks 4 days.
1. What method did you use to TTC? I used OPKs and got my smiley on one day November 26th.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) We were starting Deanna's Plan so we started bedding on the CD8, than CD10, got smiley on CD11 so BD that night, than CD12, CD13, CD15..that was all I could handle. At some point in there I took Mucinex but it wasn't consistent and it was maybe for 2 days.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I was terrible and tested early! Starting from 9DPO. But got my positive on 11DPO..I also continued to test each day because I was paranoid until I went to the Doctor.
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I took prenatals before we were TTC as per what the doctor told me.
I thought I might be PG because my boobs were just in agony. More so than when I get AF and they just looked tramendous. I figured let me try and I got my BFP.
I hope this can help someone and lots of

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I was just tracking my CM. I knew once it started that about 3 days after I would soon O. This is really just based on guessing and counting calendar days.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) At 3 days after the CM starts we would BD for about 3 days in a row. When we got our BFP we actually BD'ed 5 days in a row. I guess we needed a few extra BD sessions.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I only tested the morning AF was due, that was about 13 DPO.
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I was taking Duane Read brand OTC prenatals. I did sit with my feet up for about 15 minutes after we would BD but nothing longer.

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) I used the CBE OPK.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) Once I got my LH surge we BD every day for 3 days.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) I tested @ 10DPO and got a BFN, @ 11DPO got my BFP
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I was taking prenatals, we weren't doing anything special.
I was trying not to stress too much, I was not expecting to see that + sign on the test, I was pleasantly surprised!
Wish everyone the best of luck and lots of !!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
I used first response opk's with the lines. they were a PITA!!! i told myself if i wasnt pg this month then next month i was gonna use the smileys. it was VERY frustrating to guess if the lines were the same color!
2. What was your BD schedule?
i started the every other day BD schedule early..on cd6. and we basically followed deanna's plan once i got my 2 lines on the opk.
3. At how many dpo did you test?
i tested at 10dpo and it was a BFN. i was so sad that i didnt test again until tonight which was 15 dpo and got my BFP!
4. Anything else that might have contributed?
i started taking mucinex a few days before i thought i was going to O.
this forum is such a wealth of knowledge and im so thankful i joined in! babydust for everyone!!!
