Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
A couple questions that might help those of us who are still TTC!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
I had used OPK's for a few mos, but not this month. The OPK's basically confirmed for me when I ovulate and that I am one of the lucky who can tell when they are ovulating and almost always ovulate the same cycle day every month
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) I have a 26 day cycle and usually O on CD12, this month we BD'd on CD9, CD11, CD12 and CD13. We wanted to BD on CD14 too, but it just didn't happen
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
tested on CD27 (today and I am just EXTATIC) and got my BFP(1 day after AF was due, but I also usually spot 2 days prior)
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
Just my usual Flinstone vitamins (2 a day)

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
I used OPKs every month, except this month. I just monitored my CM since I was planning on meeting with a dr. soon to discuss other options (we had been at this for a while with no luck). I also tempted this month- not that that helps when TTC. It just helped to confirm that I had o'ed I took Mucinex from day 8. I used Pre-conceive this month instead of Preseed. I have been taking prenatals for almost a year now.. folic acid... baby asprin. The day I'm pretty sure we conceived, I remained in bed for 20 mins, then got up to move furniture
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
Every other day beginning day 8. Since I wasnt using an OPK, I made sure we BD'd on the day that I had a little bit of EWCM. Sure enough, I ovulated the next day- yay for temping...
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
I tested on 13dpo since I hadn't begun spotting like I did every other month! I just wanted to get the BFN out of the way so I could move on and begin making appointments with specialists...
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
First- I want to say I had NO SYMPTOMS.. 2xs during my 2ww I had taken naps randomly in the middle of the day- nothing major. Also, I found myself to be eating everything in sight. I also was waking up in the middle of the night with severe hunger pains. I've been taking prenatals since september.. Mucinex since CD8.. praying RELIGIOUSLY to st. Gerard & wearing his medal... I strongly believe that my faith helped me this time.. I finally "gave it up to God" and left it in his hands.. My DH and I would pray together.. We needed something to keep us strong.
Good luck to everyone!! I'm sending many prays and baby dust youre way!
eta more info because I forgot.. whoops

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
I can't believe I'm posting on here....but here it goes..
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
I was using OPKs but then decided to stop using them this month, I only watched my CM.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
We BDd CD-13/14/16/17/18/19. I think I O'd on CD17 but again, not sure.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
I tested on 12 DPO (I think) got a faint line then test again in the AM on digital and "pregnant!".
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
robitussin, prenatals & praying.
I had no unsual symptoms I 100% thought AF was coming....so much so that I drowned my sorrows in 2 glasses of wine the night before haha!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! I'm sorry I'm not ready to share but I will be soon

First off, congrats to all those with recent BFPs! Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months!
A couple questions that might help those of us who are still TTC!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to do this!
#1 - Just tracked my cycle so I knew approximately when I was O-ing and when I would be due for AF.
#2 - Every 2 days
#3 - I started testing on CD 19 and got BFN's until I was like on CD 32 first pee. I don't think I O'd when I thought I did.
4 - Ate like I was already PG. Cut down caffiene. Took folic acid (800 mu) w/ calcium. Tried to not over-thnk it.

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
I used My Monthly Cycles to track my periods.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
Every other day during the O weeks. My DH travels a lot, so we had to work around that.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) 18 dpo when I goy my BFP (we had been trying since July and I really wasn't getting my hopes up this month, so I didn't test until I was 4 days late)
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) Honestly, no. I wasn't doing anything special yet.
Good luck and baby dust to all here!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
~ Been Using OPKs on and off Since November, but this was our first month BDiing on schedule. Other than that, I just watched my CM and my Sky High Libido (which amazingly corresponded with my LH Surge!!)
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
~We BD'd every other day startiing CD 10. I have a 32/33 Day Cycle, so I knew we started a bit early, but I promised DH that I'd tire him out, so we had to start early!!! When I got my OPK Smiley, we BD'd that night and the next 3 in a row. Looking back, starting on CD 10 was excessive. I didn't O until around CD 19/20/21.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
Tested 9DPO BFN; 12DPO BFN at which point I fully declared myself "out" for the month and had a couple of drinks over the course of the next couple of days (only 1 each time..but still). Then today, 16DPO (which was 4 days late, or CD 36) it was positive. I used FMU and a regular, non-digital test. There was absolutely NO need to second guess. That 2nd line was dark and present. After work I POAS with the digital and it immediately said "Pregnant". Again, looking back, I should have waited til the science of it all determines it's ok to test. Even 12DPO was too early!!
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I've been taking Vitamins for a long time. Just switched to prenatals earlier this month, but I am pretty sure that had nothing to do with it. I was actually getting the same amount of Folic Acid in my multi. I did throw my legs up and tilt my pelvis after each session. Other than that, I did nothing different.
Best Wishes to All of You!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
A couple questions that might help those of us who are still TTC!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
Temping and OPKs
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) We BD 3-5 days before I expected to O (you need to be familiar with your cycle to be able to do this), then NO BD until I got +OPK. Then we BD the morning after I got the +, then the following 2 mornings. Then we skipped a day and BD one more time (just to be safe!).
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
tested 9DPO, BFN tested 11DPO, BFP! AF was not due until about 14-15 DPO.
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
prenatals, and completely cut out caffeine (I was a diet soda addict!) because my doctor said that it has been found to cause miscarriages and difficulties getting pregnant. Best of luck ladies

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
A couple questions that might help those of us who are still TTC!
1. What method did you use to TTC?
CBEFM(first month using it)
2. What was your BD schedule?
CBEFM didnt give me any high reading days so I went straight from low fertility to peak fertility. I had peak fertility for 2 days so we BD for those two days only.
3. At how many dpo did you test?
14 DPO
4. Anything else that might have contributed?
Nope

1. What method did you use to TTC?
CBE Digital OPK's
2. What was your BD schedule?
This was a bit of a stressful month. I got my on Easter. We BD'd that night and the next night. (Looking back I'm 99% we conceived on Easter b/c I remember having O pains)
3. At how many dpo did you test?
If I was correct and O'd on Easter I tested on what would be 13dpo.
4. Anything else that might have contributed?
Lots of practice!! LOL! This was our 12th month TTC. Never give up hope! Lots of and many, many thanks to you all for all of the help and support over this last year.

1. What method did you use to TTC?
OPK's
2. What was your BD schedule?
Followed "Deanna's Plan"
3. At how many dpo did you test?
Not sure exactly when I "o"'d but, I first tested five days b/f AF and then four days b/f AF and got BFN - Three days b/f AF is due got a BFP on the digital (all the tests were digitial)
4. Anything else that might have contributed?
I prayed alot! I prayed to St. Gerard and wore his medal sometimes.
I also did all the other stuff I read on here - Baby carrots, pineapples, pineapple juice and grapefruit juice. I told DH to eat celery since someone else on here said it works

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
A couple questions that might help those of us who are still TTC!
1. What method did you use to TTC? I have been temping for a long time, and I check CM. This month was different. I really did not think I was going to ovulate. I had a Chemical in January, then an anovulatory cycle in February. Then I had my period for 30. By the time April came around I was convinced I was not going to ovulate again. I had the tiniest bit of EWCM the day we BD, but it was such a small amount that I did not even want to count it on my chart.
2. What was your BD schedule? Normally, ever other day from CD 8 until 1 DPO, this month we just HAPPENED to BD the day before ovulation. It was totally unplanned, because as I said, I did not think I was ovulating.
3. At how many dpo did you test? I tested at 11 dpo and got a BFN on an early-pregnancy-teststrip. I threw it away in the trash because it was stark white. I came back and looked at it about 2 or 3 hours later and I thought I saw a very, very faint line. I figured it was an evap line, but I went and bought a FRER test, took it, and it came out as a BFN.
Then on 13 dpo, I took another strip test and there was another very, very faint line. This time the line showed after 10 minutes, so I took another FRER test and after 3 LONG minutes it came up as a BFP!
4. Anything else that might have contributed? Honestly, this is the one month I really did nothing special, as i was a bit depressed about the previous months. The only things I did was prayed, A LOT, and especially prayed to Saint Gerard. I also took my prenatals, and drank grapefruit juice. The only thing different I did than previous months is a put a pair of yellow baby booties under my mattress. I thought it was a cute old wives tale.
Good luck everyone!!!

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
I couldn't wait to post here.
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.)
we started using opks which never worked, then temping which drove me bonkers, then we just stopped trying. one day i saw the elusive ewcm on my tissue and chased my Dh into bed. that was the day we conceived. and that was the only day we BD'd until a week later.
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.)
once the day i saw ewcm.
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!)
i wasn't keeping track anymore, but i was cd32- and if i estimated that ovulation took place on the day i found ewcm or after, that would roughly place me at 19dpo
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.)
since last months bfp was such a major downer, we decided we'd take it light the next cycle. we went on vacation and came back & BAM!
i had terrible cramps last week. so bad. sore bb's. theee strangest craving for OJ (i hate OJ). breakin out on my chin. feel fat in everything i wear.

Re: Questions for those with recent BFPs to help us TTCers!
1. What method did you use to TTC? (temping, OPKs, etc.) Nothing first cycle, OPK's 2nd cycle (found out I was ovulating later than the online calculator said) and that was it!
2. What was your BD schedule? (e.g., every other day until positive OPK; nothing, then every day once positive OPK, etc.) BD every night CD16-CD21 (got my + on CD19)
3. At how many dpo did you test? (including both BFNs and BFP might be helpful!) Tested 8DPO and got a VERY VERY faint +, tested morning of 9DPO to another very very faint +, and took another FRER (still very faint) and FR Digital
4. Anything else that might have contributed? (prenatals, barilla plus, etc.) I actually did nothing else - didnt even start vitamins yet. I did try to stay relaxed this month and told myself if it didnt happen, there was always next month. OH, I was a firm believer in the legs straight up for at least 15 minutes after BD;ing, and then slept with my legs slightly inclined those nights.
As for any symptoms - I really felt fine this month. I even started a post saying my gut was telling me it didnt happen Only about 2 or 3 days ago I woke up feeling like I got hit with a ton of bricks and was SO tired. I never had sore boobs or anything.
