Having a new baby puts a lot of stress on everyone in the household.
I don't think you did anything wrong (since the stroller that you brought home wasn't the one you discussed) but, maybe the stress of having a new baby home caused him to act the way he did.

You said you just had a baby. Your hormones are all over the place. Honestly, he needs to understand this, and get over it. It's just a fact that this is what happens after a woman gives birth. He needs to be more accepting of whats going on with you. To sleep in another room is childish. As is not saying goodbye to you this morning. Im sorry

You are not wrong, he is. You are the WOMAN, the MOTHER. YOU choose the stroller since YOU know best. He buys the wrong one, he has to go return it. Don't let him twist this one on you.

Ah, men! You overreacted by crying and he felt under attack. He could have been confused about which stroller
to get, then felt terrible when u scolded him. Just apologize and say u overreacted. Then, make him return the one he bought.

but maybe its just me but i kinda feel bad for ur dh,maybe he thought he was doing something good and now feels like wow i was trying to be nice
idk just looking at it from his way,but i know if it was prob me i would have called my dh a moron and said go back

This... Its a stroller, its not like he adopted a baby or dog and brought it home to you.... Your crying took away from the fact he tried to do something nice for you(even though it was the wrong one, there are probably a ton of girls on here who's husbands wouldnt buy to help out, or would squash the idea of buying it yourself). Then he overreacted to your overreaction.
Next time - "dh that is so sweet and thoughtful you wanted to save me time by picking up the stroller, however its not the one we agreed on. Maybe I should order it online with free shipping or order for you to pick up from BRU"

Thanks for all the replies. You guys made me feel a lot better. We finally made up. Both said we were sorry and said if something like this comes about we need to talk through it before overreacting like we both did.
