Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I see alot are having Chat Icon . Congrats to you all!!!!

I will be doing my registry this week. At least that is what I am planning. I'm looking forward to it!!!!

I have pregnancy carpel tunnel. I wake up with my fingers numb.....very annoying!
Also, almost a week ago I almost fainted at work. Very scary!!!
I had tunnel vision and everyone said, I turned white. If I didn't sit down I would have definitely fell.
I hope I never experience that again.

I'm getting bigger. I go to the doctor next week. Hopefully, all continues to stay well.

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

It does seem like just yesterday I was praying for week 13 and now here I am at 22 almost 23 weeks. My shower is in 2 weeks so I have been dutifully registry stalking. My MIL and Mom and sister have been VERY generous so we really have all the necessities we need so far. Now its just the fun stuff! Its foiling my plans since I live OOS I think I will be getting lots of gift cards.

I have been feeling constant movement and I think am starting to get to know my babies. Baby A loves the real food-meat and potatoes guy. Baby B loves the sweets-gatorade, candy etc. I was never much of a sweet tooth but I have to oblige my babyChat Icon Baby B was always smaller and has his placenta in front so I was told I might not feel him as much but I feel him a lot! I can even feel their kicks from outside.

I have a fetal heart sono on Thursday which is something my clcinic does for all multiples. We picked up our cribs and are currently disassembling the guest room/my office to make a nursery. We rent right now and will be moving in April 09 so we are not going too crazy with the room. It is painted a light mocha color with bleached wood floors which is fine for us. Once we buy a house next year I will do a real nursery for them.

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

Hello December Mommies!!! Glad to hear that everyone is doing well!! We finished registering this week, thank goodness! I felt so overwhelmed. Luckily I had a friend that just had a baby help me out with some questions I had.
I can feel Chat Icon pretty regularly now, and I love it! Sometimes I feel a little pressure and I can feel a hard lump in my belly and I know thats some part of her thats sticking out. Within a few seconds I can feel it shift! Chat Icon
I think it's been going by so fast b/c I have been feeling good. The 10 weeks that I had m/s definitely did not go this quickly!
Glad to see the post again and glad to check in with you all.
Feel good!!!

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

Hi ladies! Glad everyone is doing well. I can't believe I'm almost 23 weeks. Time is really flying by.

I feel a lot of kicks now both on the inside and outside. It's fun to see my belly move when Chat Icon kicks. Strangers and people I haven't seen for a while are all beginning to notice I'm pregnant.

I haven't finished registering yet although people are starting to buy things. Chat Icon I plan to finish registering this weekend. I'll try not to stalk the registry after that although it will be hard.

I feel like I have so much to do: registering/picking out furniture, looking into daycare, signing up for childbirth/BFing/CPR classes, etc. Does anyone else feel a little overwhelmed?

Hi Ladies,

I haven't seen this thread in awhile.

How is everyone??

I felt a little sick this week. Don't know where it came from. I was doing great and feeling good....until this week, felt nauseous, extremely tired. Just yucky!

I have also been getting a lot of heartburn at night. Hate it!!Chat Icon

I have to go for my glucose test soon. I'll probably go next week. So not looking forward to it. I Chat Icon I pass the 1 hr.

My registry is all done and I must admit I have been checking it, even though my shower invites did not go out yet. My stroller/travel system was bought. Very Happy!!Chat Icon

Did any of you sign up for classes?
Are any of you NOT going to go to classes?

How about pediatricians? Are you going to make an appt for a consultation? When will you do this?

edited for spelling!
also, to add I'm 25 weeks tomorrow!!

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

Hi Girls,

25 weeks 3 days today.

I did the glucose test yesterday- not bad at all.

I've signed up for lamaze, a breastfeeding class, and a hospital tour. I do want to do an infant care class as well since dh has never been around little babies before.

Furniture is ordered and ready to be picked up. DH just has to finish touching up the paint in the nursery. Chat Icon

I have to make an appointment for a pediatrician- although I am pretty positive who I am going with, I still would like to meet with him.

I start work next week- I am looking forward to it since it will make time pass much quicker. I plan on working up to the last possible second , unless any problems arise- so about 14 weeks of work left!

I am not sleeping comfortable- terrible sciatic pain that wakes me up. Anyone have any reccommendations?

Heartburn is bad, but tums are a lifesaver!

No complaints though, I am really enjoying this time. I go back on the 15th for a sono to see if my placenta has moved. Chat Icon it has!

Hope everyone is well!

My heartburn has been TERRIBLE!
I had my 23 week checkup the other day and everything looks great next up is the dreaded glucose test. yuck!
I have not registered or ordered furniture yet.Chat Icon I went yesterday and found furniture that I fell in love with. We are going away in two weeks so when we come back I will really get my act together and register and order furniture.

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

I have so much to do, it's starting to worry me. 24 weeks here. I have finally started gaining weight. I am up about 7 lbs total, having gained a few this week alone.

We are going to finish registering today. I have furniture all picked out but haven't ordered it. It's girl furniture and I wanted one more sono before I ordered it to be sure, but I don't think that will be possible b/c my next sono is in 8 weeks at 32 weeks.

I also have to do the 3 hr gtt next week (only the 3 hr due to dad's history), dreading it. DREADING IT.

I have to order my cord blood registry kit, haven't decided where from yet.

I did sign up for the hospital tour in September, just to get that over with.
I have to pick a pediatrician, ugh. That won't be easy, I am so picky with drs. I have to research delayed vaccination and see how I feel about that.

We have to paint and organize the baby room, move some things around, etc. I do have paint colors picked out though. Tomorrow we will do the baby room organization, clear out the room, etc.

My shower is planned for early November so my main goal now is to get the registry fully ready. That has been a task in itself.

Otherwise, feeling pretty darn good, I can't complain overall. I feel kicks everyday, mostly am and pm. Feels so nice!!!Chat Icon

Re: Starting a December Mommy Thread!!!!

Glad everyone is doing well. DH and I basically finished registering yesterday although I still need to pick the bedding and possibly add 1 or 2 more things. We may look at furniture later this afternoon.

I found out when the classes are being given, but I haven't signed up for any yet. I feel like I have so much to do over the next few months.

DH felt the baby kick this morning. Chat Icon He never seems to be around when the baby is most active so I'm glad he finally felt kicks.

Dani, which Laugh and Learn video will you be watching? I heard there are several. I'm borrowing both the Laugh and Learn Childbirth and L & L About Newborn. Also borrowing it from the library. If the DVDs are good DH and I probably won't need to take classes... :D
