You are missing the context to those quotes.
Try harder.
Ah. No context needed when you tell someone they don’t deserve to live. You see the Karen reference and I am FAR from a Karen.

And a week after opening day, we'll get to hear all about the massive COVID spike thanks to these superspreader events. That'll be fun.
Why if they are wearing masks? I thought masks protect us? Aren’t you still going to wear one after getting vaccinated?
Why on earth do you believe that out of nowhere, with minimal people vaccinated, that 40,000 people crowding together is a good idea??? Sharing bathrooms, touching everything, taking their masks off to eat, sitting on top of everyone. Stadiums are a petri dish on a good day.
There is literally NO evidence to suggest that we can open up like normal and stay safe particularly in large crowds. In fact, the recommendations are quite the opposite.
People like YOU have been the problem since this pandemic started. You don't want to be inconvenienced by safety measures, you want everything open regardless of that being safe and of course, you don't want a vaccine. I'm continually astounded by your ignorance regarding COVID.

If you read the article, it is ONLY opening day they are allowing the entire stadium to have fans.
There is no evidence saying otherwise either as many schools are fully open with masks and less then 6 feet distancing. Restaurants have been open in many states and they have been fine. Did you see Universal in Orlando recently? Packed like a normal day.
Once again I do as I am told when I am in public. I have not gotten sick nor anyone that I have been around.
If you chose to hole up for another year, that is your choice but we have to reopen. We claim masks and the vaccine will work so there is no reason to open more.
More people need to take care of themselves and stop blaming others for when they get sick. Those people are the problem.

Yep the ones that believe we all need to hide in our houses even after taking a vaccine. What is the point of the vaccine then?

Nobody said you need to hide in your house after taking the vaccine but MOST of this country has yet to receive the shot and until enough people are vaccinated, gatherings of thousands of people is not only dangerous, but stupid.
You really are clueless AF.

It's not about your comfort level or mine, stop making COVID about your personal "feelings". It is simple FACT that gatherings of thousands with a predominantly unvaccinated population is a disaster waiting to happen. That's science sweetie, not feelings. IDGAF about your "feelings", I'm following the science as you should be instead of running around like a know it all. The science says large, crowds are a breeding ground for infectious spread. This isn't even debatable.
Nobody thinks COVID will go away, it will be something we'll need to deal with going forward and we're working on that, but we're not there yet regardless of your personal feelings and comfort level. We have a few months to go and thousands more vaccines to distribute before we can talk normalcy.

Hours and hours of people crammed together touching countless surfaces, breathing on everything, sharing bathrooms etc is a breeding ground for germs. It's WAY more high risk than a bunch of people walking outside together.
There is a reason large venues have been closed to date. Until more people are vaccinated there is NOTHING safe about gathering in the thousands. It's a VERY stupid move to even attempt it.
But please, tell me more about your "feelings" and "comfort level" which is as useless as a $2 bill.

So no answer about the riots which lasted hours and hours. How about Universal Studios that is jam packed?
Funny as I watch webcams online and they were having music playing in Key West, which I assume is a normal thing and the area was packed, people all on top of one another.

Texas is open!
I would just stop bothering with VB. It is blatantly obvious that she has zero understanding of the severity of COVID. Luckily, we do not live in a state like Texas or Mississippi, and while we are taking more and more gradual steps to reopening, which I fully support, her desire for pre-covid life, which would kill so many more people, is not going to be a reality until the summer, at the very earliest. My prediction is around September/October we will begin to see the country getting close to how we were in February 2020. Masks...I think those will be around for another year or so. For the record, I read last night that only 6% of Texans agree with the governor's decision to lift mask mandates and capacity limits. And those in TX and MS who lost loved ones to this virus are beyond devastated that this is happening. They say they are not ready, and all this will do is cause more families to experience the pain they are living with. Ireland has been in lockdown since mid December. They just announced yesterday it will most likely be lifted in mid MAY. Five months of lockdown. We never had anything close to that here. America has sacrificed over the last year, but we did not sacrifice as much as people in other countries and we experienced FAR more death and illness. It is also worth mentioning that a big reason why NJ and the NYC/LI area are having a hard time flattening the curve, is because of NYC. It is the most populous city in the country. Florida does not have cities that come close to the density, population size, mass transit usage, etc., that we do here. And they have much better weather. You can't compare Florida to the NYC metro area.

Nobody said you need to hide in your house after taking the vaccine but MOST of this country has yet to receive the shot and until enough people are vaccinated, gatherings of thousands of people is not only dangerous, but stupid.
You really are clueless AF.
No one said you needed to go to populated places. It is their choice. If they feel comfortable they will go. Just because people are not in fear does not make them clueless. The virus is real, it will never go away.
Crowds like the riots and looting? How many spikes came from that? Or only a baseball game will cause spikes?
You're hopeless. Truly.
And please, don't use FL as an example of the RIGHT thing to do. They are as bright as TX.
So clueless that our pretty much locked up state of NY had 6,106 cases yesterday but FL only had 4,843. You would think if they are open and places are packed, they would have more e cases, no?

They are at least living. No better or worse than us. People were able to keep their livelihoods. The state has a budget surplus. Yeah they aren’t bright. Everyone should be like NY lol
Exactly and not getting sick nor dying as much as NY is.

I get you have bad anxiety so for you this is worse. I am sorry but many don’t feel the same.
I wonder if Ireland pays their people so there livelihood is not destroyed like what is happening to our country?

You are a piece of shit human being. Stop being such a passive aggressive low life. You're not going to get what you want anyway. This state isn't opening up the way you want it to, so shut up and deal.

Ahhh go straight to insults and curses. Never fails on this board.
Let me know about Ireland and if they are making sure their people are being take care of. They have a population of almost 5 million and and it looks like they had a surge in January of 8,000 cases in one day. That is less than .2%. 4,499 deaths, less than .1%.

Waaahhh Waaahhh Life isn't fair, COVID isn't fair!! I should be able to just live my life if I am comfortable!! Waaahh Waaahh
What an incessant, whiny, crybaby you are VB. The world doesn't owe you $hit. We're still in the midst of a global pandemic. so sorry if that puts your social agenda out. We all feel terrible that you cannot "live your best life" right now. LMAO
What you REPEATEDELY fail to understand is that nobody is being forced home and unable to "live their life". *MOST* things are open including shopping, restaurants, doctors, etc And in time, when it's SAFER, theater, sporting events, concerts etc will open too. But NOW is NOT the time. Again, nobody cares about your "feelings", the FACTS indicate it is too soon to just flip the switch like it's 2019. If everyone exercises a little caution and patience, in just a few months after most people have been vaccinated we can return to a real normal. But not now.
How about shutting up and doing your part to get us there?

Wahhh wahhh, why isn’t everyone staying locked inside for the next year. You might be ok with living like this but many aren’t. I don’t know how to get it thru your thick head that we know how to treat this, we have a vaccine, people can choose to stay home if they want. Stop making everyone who wants to see their child graduate or play a sport feel bad. Stop making people who want to hop on a plane to visit family feel bad. Stop making people who want to have a spouse or significant other next to them during a doctors appointment feel bad. Stop making people who want to make a living fee bad. Stop making children who want socialize during lunch or play on a playground during recess feel bad. Just stop it already, get off your high horse. Maybe you don’t have a life so you feel like this is ‘normal’. But many of us have lifes and this is not living. Get over yourself already.

Well Coumo just lifted our travel quarantine so looking like he is getting ready to allow all the things you think need to be waited for. We knew we would be open soon with more and more accusers coming forward and being on the hot seat for the nursing homes and his book being held up/m.

Oh yes VB, that is why things are changing. Not because of numbers improving, the vaccine, time etc. Nevermind that other states are SLOWLY loosening restrictions too, like NJ. It's all about Cuomo. You are such a simple little person.

She moved to another state. Has no family or friends around. Has no job. She has no problem sitting at home and wearing a mask to the few places she goes to. The rest of us are ready after a full year. This was supposed to be a 2 week things and you are correct, they know how to handle it better now.
