EVERYONE wants this things. Nobody is staying locked up at home anymore. I do a lot, as does my family.
This is a pandemic, a public health crisis, that has killed almost 600,000 Americans and left thousands more with lifelong health issues.
Protecting public health trumps everything right now. Doctors offices are allowing spouses. Most schools will he hosting some type of graduation in June. You can do almost anything you want, just with a mask and at a limited capacity. Even nyc restaurants are going to 50% next week. I

Well Coumo just lifted our travel quarantine so looking like he is getting ready to allow all the things you think need to be waited for. We knew we would be open soon with more and more accusers coming forward and being on the hot seat for the nursing homes and his book being held up/m.
Oh yes VB, that is why things are changing. Not because of numbers improving, the vaccine, time etc. Nevermind that other states are SLOWLY loosening restrictions too, like NJ. It's all about Cuomo. You are such a simple little person.

I’ve done my part for a year. I’m ready to move on. Just open everything up by the end of may, you know....when everyone who wants a vaccine can have one according to Biden. I don’t care if we need masks for a little longer, just open everything up with no restrictions.
And call me a dumba$$ all you want I don’t care. I have friends who don’t leave their homes still, kids are virtual, they work from home, haven’t see. Anyone, etc....I don’t judge them at all and they don’t judge me. It’s called respect. Try it sometime. You just like to belittle people who don’t agree with you. I bet you are a very unlikeable person in real life that people tip toe around because they don’t want to be preached to.

FTR I can stand VB. I don't mind her, in fact it's nice to have some people with different opinions on here. And frankly I find having someone banned from an internet chat board instead of just ignoring them kind of sad. Why can't you just not respond if she bothers you so much? I can't understand it.
Anyway, gotta run, have to book my flight to Texas now that the travel ban was lifted! Can't wait to go to the Ranger's opening day!

I agree. People bring up things others have mentioned alllll the time, even those who seem bothered by it have done so, and I don’t see a problem with it. If I didn’t like people doing that, then I’m gonna make sure not to mention anything about my private life. Please if it’s a really big issue for u when someone mentions something YOU shared, then u might want to consider not sharing anything personal. Getting all worked up is not worth it.

Back to the original topic though, I am SO CONFUSED as to why everyone assumes that Texas will have a huge spike when Florida has been open for a while now and is doing (albeit marginally) better than NY.

FTR I can stand VB. I don't mind her, in fact it's nice to have some people with different opinions on here. And frankly I find having someone banned from an internet chat board instead of just ignoring them kind of sad. Why can't you just not respond if she bothers you so much? I can't understand it.

I agree. People bring up things others have mentioned alllll the time, even those who seem bothered by it have done so, and I don’t see a problem with it. You do understand that NOBODY, literally NOBODY, on LIF brings up personal details about others in their discussions, right? The grown-ups in the room know how to discuss topics with one another without having to bring up one's home, job, family, hobbies, etc. But VB is a creeper so I expect nothing less.
People do bring up stuff - people have talked about KKs boyfriend and his situation with his mom and things like that. I remember quite a bit about what people post and will bring things up from time to time. I think you are hypersensitive to it with VB because you can't stand her and she gets under your skin. But no need to get her banned - just don't respond or post on threads she posts on.

What you REPEATEDELY fail to understand is that nobody is being forced home and unable to "live their life". *MOST* things are open including shopping, restaurants, doctors, etc And in time, when it's SAFER, theater, sporting events, concerts etc will open too. But NOW is NOT the time. Again, nobody cares about your "feelings", the FACTS indicate it is too soon to just flip the switch like it's 2019. If everyone exercises a little caution and patience, in just a few months after most people have been vaccinated we can return to a real normal. But not now.
