You do understand that NOBODY, literally NOBODY, on LIF brings up personal details about others in their discussions, right? The grown-ups in the room know how to discuss topics with one another without having to bring up one's home, job, family, hobbies, etc. But VB is a creeper so I expect nothing less.
It happens, often. Just take at look at this topic post about Texas. It has happened to me, and to many others. I personally don’t care but again if it was an issue for me, I’d make sure to keep my private life away from this board.

Everything is NOT back to NORMAL and MANY kids are NOT in school. The poor minorities are suffering! No jobs, no money for child care, and our communities education is going deeper and deeper in the toilet. Making the gap ginormous at this point.
I don’t get peeps keep ignoring this fact and keep saying everything is pretty much back to normal.
For the love of all things mighty, NOTHING IS F#KN normal or almost back to normal.
People need to take a trip to the hood, and get over themselves on here.

They won’t and it seems people want them to, to prove their point on science.

I actually tended to believe this to be true, and i am sure it is in many places, but this is not the case in NYC. 70% of the DOE is remote, and black, asian, and Hispanic parents kept their children remote all year at twice the rate of white parents. They had the choice to send them in, and they didn't. I was actually really surprised when I read that.
I am actually a huge proponent of schools being open. I don't agree with those that are closed. However, good luck getting through the teachers unions. Many DOE teachers are already flipping out that they have to go back full time in september.
What a lot of other countries are doing is keeping a lot closed so schools are guaranteed to stay open.

Because the media and the government did them a huge disservice, scared the crap out of them. Also many couldn’t afford childcare or needed sibling to watch each other. So this number shouldn’t be surprising. Many schools didn’t open and the ones that did were on a crap hybrid model.

I agree. People bring up things others have mentioned alllll the time, even those who seem bothered by it have done so, and I don’t see a problem with it. If I didn’t like people doing that, then I’m gonna make sure not to mention anything about my private life. Please if it’s a really big issue for u when someone mentions something YOU shared, then u might want to consider not sharing anything personal. Getting all worked up is not worth it.

Back to the original topic though, I am SO CONFUSED as to why everyone assumes that Texas will have a huge spike when Florida has been open for a while now and is doing (albeit marginally) better than NY.
They won’t and it seems people want them to, to prove their point on science.
