im just getting back into the gym thing...i joined LA fitness

i go in the mornings at 515

after a 14 monthe break i am back

today- 15 minutes rowing machine
15 minutes elliptical

snowboard girl- any suggestions on what the best workout for me is since i really only have 30-40 minutes max to workout? how do i make the most of that time...thanks!!!

Saturday - legs
Squats: 3/75/6

Romanian deadlifts: 3/70/8

Calf presses: 3/80/14

Tuesday - chest & triceps
Dumbbell bench press: 1/25/12, 2/30/7

Pushups: 3 sets of 7

Triceps pressdown: 3/40/8

20 minutes on the treadmill
abs, stretch

HIIT at 2.5% incline
5 minute Warm-up
10 intervals, fast 9.5, slow 3.6/3.7
5 minute cooldown

Used my free weights to do shoulders and back

Some Ab work

I've got a half hour with a trainer tonight then may stay for a pilates class.


I didn't do anything since Wednesday Chat Icon But I did sweat like hell cleaning the house on Saturday!

Thursday - my last free personal training session at work. 1 hr. of interval training.

Sunday - Shoulders
Dumbbell military press: 1/17.5/12, 1/20/8, 1/20/7

Side laterals: 1/8/14, 2/8/12

Upright rows: 3/60/6

10 minutes of fast walk & run intervals on the track.
Abs & stretch.

Sunday- mowed the grass. It was a hard workout and I definitely felt it afterwards!

Monday- 40 minutes on elliptical. Also did abs.

Monday

HIIT at 2.5%
5 minute warm-up
10 intervals
3.7 slow/9.5 fast
5 minute cool down

using free weights I did biceps, shoulders and back

Tuesday

Walked for 1/2 hr at lunch

At home - Ran 2.5 miles, lunges, squats and triceps.

Yesterday - back & biceps

Barbell bent over rows:
1/60/9, 2/60/8, 1/60/7

Assisted pullups:
1/64/9, 2/64/6

Biceps dumbbell curls:
3/15/8

Than I did abs and that's it. I felt kinda crappy yesterday....and my left ankle hurts for no reason!
