I finally worked out on Saturday - just did one of my Firm videos while Jackson slept. He's been sick for like a month straight! D amn daycare! I feel so guilty going to the gym and leaving him with DH when he's sick I think I'll have to resort to just working out at home until he's well again.

Ann, something that really helps me is having a treadmill at home.
If I can't get to the gym, I can just jump on the treadmill for half hour to 45 minutes.

Thanks Tara! I don't mind doing my videos at all - I have a lot of good ones. I just need to get back to the gym though so I can lift real weights!

I haven't had time to go. I have been doing pullups on my bar at home, and push ups now and then.
I can't believe I am doing this to myself. I was working out regularly for over 10 years. I hope I get back into it.
It is good though, because my closes were getting too tight because of the muscle, and it was hard to get dressed in the morning. But now I look frail.

Ann, you need to make your family a priority, but try to get that litle bit of time to yourself. I am not working out because matt is home after work lately, and I never get to see him. Plus we are renovating and painting our entire house. There is always work to be done so I feel bad making time for myself. Matt does nothing for himself. He works 18-20 hour days then sleeps for 4 hours at night.
I feel guilty going, more than not going!! I am the ecomplete opposite than most people!!

Hi everyone! I am back. I am proud to say that while I was not posting, I was working out at least 2x/week.
Monday: 45 minutes cardio 1/2 hour "bootylicious" class- lower body 1/2 hour "Abstruction" class- abs
Today: 35 minutes cardio 1 hour sculpting/weight class

I know - I hear ya! I'm going to go this weekend, and try to get back on a schedule. I know Clay totally won't mind if I go to the gym while he stays home with Jackson, so I have to stop feeling guilty!

Haven't worked out all week! I finally did today, although we had a snowstorm so I worked out at home.
If anybody is looking for a good upper body workout DVD, try Cathe Friedrich's Upper Body Pyramid (has a Lower Body pyramid workout on the DVD too). I LOVE Cathe! P.S. the lower body pyramid workout nearly killed me

My imune system is horrible lately!!! I got sick again and was feeling horrible since ast Tuesday. I had so much time to go to the gym but I just couldn't do it! I am going to take airborne everyday to avoid this. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. I used to get sick once a year!!
Last night I was feeling better, so I did 20 pushups, and 5 pull ups, but that's it.
Peabody, you must be solid as a rock by now!!! you are doing great!

That Cathe Friedrich upper body pyramid workout DESTROYED my biceps. I've never been that sore in my entire life! The other day I did the lower body workout (and my hamstrings are feeling it). Sunday I did Turbo Jam (DH did it with me ) And yesterday I took off.
I can't wait to get back to the gym. The snow and holidays kept us from going.
Gotta get my eating back on track too!
