Thanks Christine for the words of encouragement.

My diet is the part that is doing me in. I ate lot of sweets over Christmas and New Years. Trying to get back on track with eating.

Ran 3.55 miles

3 sets of 10 tricep dips
45 crunches
2 sets of 12 pushups (I am sore from yesterday)

Are you sleeping enough?

Went to a trail near our house with Phil and the Sarge. We ran and walked about 2 1/2 miles.

At times we had to sprint because Sarge is FAST!

I haven't posted on this in so long- so here it goes

Tuesday- 20 walk at lunch
30 mins running
Arms and Abs

Wednesday- 20 walk at lunch
30 mins running

Thursday- 30 minutes running

Friday - 30 minues running and Abs

Saturday - 3 mile + run outside and up hill

Sunday- 2 mile walk


and I will be going to the gym tonight- I am 100% back and even eating better then ever- I feel so much better!

I just didn't feel like running, so I walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes changed the pace from 3.5 up to 4.3 and changed the incline from 2.0 up to 4.0.

a total of 2.55 miles

Jackson has been so sick - he was in the hospital last weekend Chat Icon
So I work out when I can.

Monday - Cathe Friedrich's Upper Body Pyramid

Yes, he's much better thank goodness! We would've gone to the gym on Saturday but the daycare there closes at noon, and Jackson seems to always be taking a nap during the time that we need to go to the gym.

Clay has promised to go to the gym with me every Tues, Thurs, Sat, and Sun (as long as Jackson is well) because his waist size has expanded and he's finding it hard to find pants that fit!

Went to the little workout room at lunchtime and did a very quick workout.
Shoulders - dumbbell military press, side laterals, and rear delt flyes.

Haven't posted in a week.

This past week has been very busy and overwhelming for me due to personal things going on in my life.

I ran 3.35 miles and 45 crunches today.

I tried something different today. I am getting really tired of the treadmill and only worked out 2 twice this week.

Here is what I did and I am so happy I did it, it really helped and I didn't get bored at all and it went by really fast.

'The short circuit

This workout combines toning exercises with running for maximum efficiency and minimal boredom. Warm up for ten minutes at an easy pace. Stop and do 10 or 20 push-ups.

Get back on the treadmill and run at a moderately-hard pace for five minutes. Stop and do 30 abdominal crunches. Run for five minutes. Get off and do 20 bicycles. Run for five minutes. Stop and do another set of push-ups.

Run for ten minutes hard and then cool down with a ten minute jog. Total running time: 45:00.'

It took about an hour and I ran a total of 4.3 miles.

I finally went back to the gym after almost a month. Yesterday (1/28) 45 minutes of cardio. Did a total of 3.30 miles.

Hah. I am no where near where you girls are... but I'll play

15 minutes fast walking on the treadmill, 35 minutes on the elliptical, alternating incline and resistance .

conventional deadlifts- 4 sets of 8 115
single leg curls- 3 sets of 10 40
leg extensions- 3 sets of 10 120

ran 10 minutes
bike 10 minutes
